Rhododendron spoon rests
This delightful pair of wooden spoon rests were cut from the same little branch of a purple-flowered rhododendron tree. It was grown in our tiny wood, on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors, in the Peak District National Park.
When heavy snow brought down a branch, we wanted to create something as stunning as the original rhododendron tree. So that's what we did. And our rhodedendron tree not only survived but regenerated at root level and is now flourishing.
The price is for the pair of rhododendron spoon rests. We've gently sanded both sides and given the wood a coat of food-safe organic flaxseed oil, just the same as the oil you'd use for cooking. To clean your wooden spoon rests, just wipe them with a damp cloth.
Whether you're looking for a rustic gift for someone who loves to cook, or a thoughtful present for a gardener who likes rhododendrons, or just a nice little set of wooden spoon rests for yourself, this one is sure to delight.
As with all our wooden gifts and homeware, the ones you see in the photo are the ones you get. We're currently offering free shipping and free gift wrapping on all UK mainland orders.
