Rustic wood teapot stand
This delightfully rustic teapot stand is cut from an alder tree, grown in our tiny wild wood on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. It's pale dusky wood and chunky proportions make it both tactile and pleasing to the eye.
Perfectly proportioned for both modern and vintage teapots, this wooden stand will look lovely in any kitchen. It'd also make the perfect unusual gift for a tea lover. The alder tree is an ancient symbol of protection, generosity and strength, so it's the perfect teapot stand from which to serve a nice strong brew.
Unusually we currently have a pair of these, so if you'd like a teapot stand and a cake plate stand that match, we might just have found you the perfect gift. And they look quite nice as plant stands too. We make them, you supply the extra imagination!
Please note the listing is for just one wooden teapot stand, though if you're quick, you could buy the pair. Alas the teapot is not included, as the Chick With Chainsaw likes a good brew as much as the next Yorkshire lass. :-)
We've left this wooden teapot stand just as it was cut from the alder tree, complete with its bark. But we've gently sanded both sides smooth to show off the beautiful grain of the alder wood. To clean your wooden teapot stand, just wipe it with a damp cloth.
